Where can I find drivers for Windows 7? back to top
There is currently no drivers compatible with Windows 7 available. The launch of a Windows 7 (and 8) compatible software will be released together with the next generation of Trackbar Emotion. This is estimated to second half of 2012.
Does the Trackbar Emotion work with a Mac? back to top
Yes. Trackbar Emotion™ works with both PCs and Macs. Its plug-n-play functionality makes it work instantly
on connection to the computer.
Will my Trackbar Emotion work without additional software installation? back to top

Yes, Trackbar Emotion™ works without any additional software. If, however, you wish to make all the buttons programmable you must download and install a full version of the software.

Plug-n-play functions for PC (without any software installation):

  • Top Left Button: Traditional Left Click button
  • Top Right Button: Traditional Right Click button
  • Lower Left Button: FORWARD (equal to the forward arrow in your web browser)
  • Lower Right Button: BACK (equal to the back arrow in your web browser)
  • Scroll Wheel: Traditional Double Left Click
  • The Roll: Default mode is OFF. To switch the roll-click function on or off, hold down the roll and the two lower buttons simultaneously for 4-5 seconds.
Can I program the buttons on the Trackbar Emotion? back to top
PC: Yes. To program the buttons you need to download and install the full version of the Trackbar Emotion software that is available in our downloads section without charge.

Mac: Yes. Although the software available on the Euro Office Web site can’t be used for Mac, we recommend a third party vendor software found here. Follow the directions from the manufacturer to make the buttons programmable. Please note that Euro Office is only responsible for Trackbar Emotion and does not keep any support related to downloading and/or installations from any other vendor or manufacturer.
Can I switch the Trackbar Emotion 180 degrees so the roll is closer to me? back to top
Yes. Push the gray switch in the bottom of Trackbar Emotion one time. This will switch the roll technology 180 degrees. In addition, you must go to your PC control panel, choose MOUSE and follow the directions how to change the buttons from left to right, or vice versa.
Why is it possible to switch my Trackbar Emotion around 180 degrees? back to top
The default position is with the roll closest to the keyboard. The option to rotate the device 180 degrees is available for those who feel more comfortable using Trackbar Emotion with the roll closest to the body. Both positions are ergonomically correct.
Is the Trackbar Emotion™ wireless? back to top
Your Trackbar Emotion is not wireless but has a battery compartment in preparation for a wireless version.

No.
How do I change languages for the Trackbar Emotion? back to top
The language automatically chosen is determined by the language your computer operating system is using.
How do I get the voice control to work? back to top
For either Microsoft VISTA or Apple Mac OS X Leopard, voice recognition systems are built into the computers. Consult your manual or the manufacturer for further instructions to activate and control this software. Microsoft XP also has this function for download without charge from its Web site. Please note that Euro Office is only responsible for Trackbar Emotion and does not keep any support related to downloading and/or installations from any other vendor or manufacturer.

You connect the microphone cable next to the USB port of your Trackbar Emotion.
How does the microphone on Trackbar Emotion work? back to top
The microphone built into your Trackbar Emotion is a standard microphone that works with any software using
a microphone, such as Skype or Microsoft Vista voice recognition.

Yes. To switch the roll-click function on or off, hold down the roll and the two lower buttons simultaneously for
